What would you do if you were Audrey Hepburn’s granddaughter?
Well, Emma Ferrer answers this question for us. In spite of these photos from Harper’s Bazaar magazine, she isn’t pursuing modeling. Not just yet. Even though the person who photographed her here is the grandson of Dick Avedon, Audrey’s favorite and legendary photographer.
In an interview, Emma Ferrer tells the world of what she’s pursuing, art. She is nestled now in Florence, Italy which is synonymous to an artist’s haven. Though Emma studied ballet and has the grace of a ballerina and the legs for it as well, as she is tall like Audrey, she is not chasing a career in acting nor in modeling.
Emma Ferrer is no Audrey Hepburn, and Audrey is no Emma. But the world can’t help but compare the two of them, especially if Audrey’s DNA and blood runs through Emma’s veins. I am a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn’s style, grace, and poise. And I don’t think this generation, our generation understands what it means to have this.
Let’s see perhaps Emma will get to pose for more magazines or even land a role in an ala Breakfast in Tiffany’s movie. Not now, but maybe someday.
